Here FIR filters derived from the equiripple approximation and the Chebychev window are compared.

The frequency response of the filter derived from the Chebychev window is controlled by the parameters on the lower left.

Images below show 3 possibilities. As for the Kaiser window, the difference increases as the the bandwidth is reduced (window can produce a larger stop band attenuation at the value of N required to match the transition region) and the allowable pass band ripple increases.
