Low Pass FIR Filter with the Fourier Series and the Dolph Chebyshev Window.

This applet illustrates the effect of the Dolph-Chebyshev window on the frequency and impulse response of a low pass filter derived from the Fourier Series.



Image below shows a low pass filter with a minimum stop band attenuation of 100dB. The filter length is 103 and the 0.1dB to 100dB transition banswidth is ~0.055ws. The passband has a ripple which can be measured by moving one of the frequency reference lines across the pass band..
