Frequency and impulse response of an FIR LP filter derived from a
Fourier Series of the frequency response followed by the
application of the Hamming window to the impulse response.
N is the length of the impulse response.
fc/fs is the cutoff frequency expressed as a fraction of the sampling frequency.
Frequency response is in red. For reference
the response of the filter without the window is shown in orange.
Impulse response is in yellow. For reference
the unwindowed impulse response is in green.
When Fgain = 1 horizontal axis is from 0 to 0.5 of the sampling
frequency.
