This applet shows one way of analysing a signal whose frequency
changes with time. In this case, the signal is of 10s duration
and changes from w1 to
(w1 + w2)/2
to w2.
The 10s duration is divided into 5 2s sections and the spectrum found
for each section. The result is illustrated below.
